While a student, Frank was a leader, a scholar, and a great athlete at Notre Dame as evidenced by his bag of different pitches from the mound in baseball, and various positions played in football.
Earned a B.Ed & Masters of English from St. Francis Xavier in Nova Scotia where he helped establish the storied football program that it is today.
Vital to the Saskatchewan Hockey Association in the ’60s & ’70s serving as President, Past President & Referee in Chief.

Inducted into the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame in 1986 and Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame in 1987.
