Roll Call

The Roll Call is Notre Dame’s annual fund. Roll Call gifts from Notre Dame alumni, families, and friends provide unrestricted funds that are deployed immediately to support student bursaries and help to enrich academic, athletic and co-curricular programs beyond what is funded by tuition alone.

Notre Dame has been building a culture of philanthropy since Pere’s time. Alumni and friends have been working in the background to support the College and the need is greater than ever. With over a century of alumni around the globe achieving remarkable things, the common thread that unites us all is our shared Notre Dame experience. Together we can continue Pere’s legacy!

HOUNDS AND HOUNDS EVERYWHERE ARE DIFFERENCE-MAKERS

The College deeply appreciates the strong tradition of support from alumni, parents of alumni, and parents of current students. In the 2023-24 year, 64% of our annual fund contributions came from Notre Dame alumni and families. This support significantly enriches our student’s educational, spiritual, and athletic programs and opportunities.

With a rich history spanning over a century, our Notre Dame community has thousands of alumni and supporters. When all our alumni respond to the Roll Call, those contributions can make a significant impact. Even if you can only contribute a small amount, your support still makes a difference. For example, a thousand donors willing to give $25 a month adds up to $300,000 per year!

Funding Hounds is a significant investment.

Tuition alone doesn’t cover the full costs of a boarding school. The Roll Call helps to fill this gap by funding enhanced academic programs, innovative technology, wellbeing initiatives, as well as expanded co-curricular, athletic, and artistic opportunities that support a balanced education of mind, body, and spirit. It also provides bursaries to help exceptional students attend Notre Dame, and so much more.

Giving Online

Donors have the option of making secure on-line credit card gifts. Notre Dame accepts VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS.

Pledges

Some donors may want to make a commitment to the HoundsFund but are not ready to start paying, also known as a Pledge. Pledges are a great way to kick-start your donations and gain some momentum especially when the pledges are committed early in the year. The Development Office will help you stay on top of that donation by mailing two pledge reminder letters during the year.

If you would like to start a new pledge, you can do so by calling Dave Harazny at 306-732-1201.
Corporate Matching Gifts

Double the value of your gift to Notre Dame with a matching contribution from your employer. Many companies will match gifts made by an employee, employee spouse, directors or retirees. Ask your company's Human Resources department if they have a matching gift program if so request a matching gift form from your employer. Send the completed form, signed with your gift to us and we will take for of the rest.
