HOUNDS GIRLS PREP BASKETBALL

The Prep Basketball Program is made up of high-performance players who are on a solid path towards and have goals of recruitment towards a post-secondary women’s basketball scholarship in the NCAA, USport or CCAA. The Hounds Prep team practices and prepares physically and mentally in a demanding university style approach. On court team and individual development, the use of in-depth film review, scouting reports, digital playbooks, a mandatory intense strength/conditioning program and additional tools provide all contribute to each player's daily development. Individualized Performance Plans (IPP) are created for each player to guide them along the development journey preparing for the collegiate level. 
 
Notre Dame Hounds Athletics has been producing outstanding female student-athletes for over 30 years. They are high-achieving, successful and well-rounded, not only elite athletes but as professionals, business and community leaders, potential coaches, and reliable young adults. 
Every year Notre Dame teams have representation provincially, nationally, and internationally from our female student-athletes.

Over the course of the last 10 years, female student-athletes at Notre Dame have been awarded more than $5 million in athletic/academic scholarships. 

The Notre Dame Hounds Prep Basketball Team competes across Canada and the United States on an elite level 30 - 35 game schedule which spans September to March has the team playing against national and international competition at events. By committing to play the toughest schedule with the most exposure to NCAA, USport and CCAA university coaches of any team from Western Canada, every game will challenge the entire program to prepare and compete at the elite level of high school basketball.

Scouting and Recruiting for this program is a year-round task. If you are interested in being considered for a roster spot in the Hound Prep program, please contact Marc Ffrench, Notre Dame’s Basketball Coordinator and Head Coach of the Prep Program. Our entire staff uses a combination of resources throughout the year to evaluate players via film, references, skills evaluations, small group workouts, interviews with our coaching staff, fitness evaluations, and other items that are used to finalize our roster invitations throughout the spring and summer prior to the next school year and season.
