- Played baseball for the Notre Dame Hounds Senior team in the Soo Line League from 1955 to 1960 as well as various tournaments across Saskatchewan & Alberta.
- Played in the CFL for the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Edmonton Eskimos in the late 1950s/early 1960s
- Was inducted into Saskatchewan Hall of Fame in 2011
