Passing of Lois Mooney '52

 
The College extends its condolences to the family and friends of Lois Mooney from Calgary who passed away on October 25, 2024.
 
Lois is a Hound from the Class of 1952 having arrived in Wilcox in 1943 when she was just nine years old with her sister. During a near decade of life in Wilcox and at the College, she established a very close relationship with Père. She married her classmate Bill Mooney and together were incredible supporters of Notre Dame. They served the College in many capacities over the years including both of them serving on the Board of Regents.
 
A celebration of Lois’ life will take place in Calgary on November 18th, 2024 at 2pm, McInnis and Holloway Park Memorial Chapel, 5008 Elbow Drive SW. Obituary link: https://mhfh.com/tribute/details/51374/Lois-Mooney/obituary.html
